This course is underpinned by a patient/person centred care framework and equips nursing students and practicing nurses with the knowledge and skills for accurate patient assessments, including gathering relevant information, conducting physical examinations, and recognizing normal and abnormal findings. Emphasis is placed on effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and ethical considerations in patient interactions.
