Overview

This course aims to equip nursing students and practicing nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct comprehensive and accurate assessments of patients. This course is focused on developing a learner’s ability to gather relevant patient information, perform physical examinations, and recognize normal and abnormal findings across different body systems. It emphasizes the importance of effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and ethical considerations when interacting with patients. Upon completion, learners will be able to confidently conduct patient assessments while demonstrating effective communication and cultural sensitivity.

Upon 100% completion, learners will be awarded a Certification of Completion co-signed by Thieme and the German Nursing Federation (Deutscher Pflegerat).
